Sypnosis: "Daze" takes place over three DAYS. This nonlinear tale displays each day in a different visual style, color, and theme. We have days red (Love), green (Money), and blue (Death). Day 'Red' we meet Rich, a silent character that no one mentions. Clad in a red elvis jumpsuit, he goes to work like any other day but all of his experiences are seen in a dreamlike, animated way. Rich works in a large office building at an indeterminable but loathsome job. His dreamlike way of seeing the world transforms the receptionists into a dj, the janitors into break dancers, and the business men into pimps. Rich discovers a mysterious door to a mysterious room and sets about on a laborious and vague opus like project. He’s in love with Amy and struggles with the overwhelming feelings he has for her. It is this reason Rich remains mum. His silence also actualizes the reality that, often times people say things that merit no response. Rich’s roommate Jehosephat, spends his day lounging, sporadically popping in to spout nonsense or hang out with his girlfriend, Desdemona, while they air over the inner workings of a relationship. The green day has sharpness and scratchiness, as if the day has feedback. It centers on Mr. Morris, an inebrious man peddling various bizarre business proposals and products to a variety of investors. His pitches range from scent-coded parking structures to ostrich farms and customizable dildos. Mr. Morris is also Amy’s boss, struggling to get just one investor to keep his business afloat. Amy is the center of the last day, the blue day. A devastating breakup in conjunction with other known and unknown circumstances cause her to attempt suicide, multiple times, multiple ways. Her depressing situation quickly becomes comical in its absurdity. A final attempt culminates in a passive confrontation. All of these days are intertwined and told together, full of stimulatingly bizarre characters and dialog twisting this story trippingly through the real, surreal, and unreal.

Trivia & Facts:
- The concept of Daze originated when the writer/director Jeff Dean and a few friends dressed up as Elvis with for Halloween. He noticed that everyone treats you differently when your dressed as Elvis, which intrigued him.
- The names of the main characters: Rich, Amy, and Mr. Morris are all references to the concepts money, love, and death. The theme of each one of their days doesn't correlate with their name, however, if you reinterpret the characters - Rich is the richest person in the movie, Amy is the object of love, and Mr. Morris is slowly killing himself.
- Originally the dildosizer pitch was about personalized dildos until the writer found out they already existed.
