| JACKSON AS JASPER |
 There some was controversy surrounding Jackson being cast as Jasper Hale in the Twilight film, however over several weeks, people began to warm up to him as Jasper. Why do you think Jackson is perfect for the role of Jasper Hale? • When I first saw Jackson as Jasper Hale, I was 'wow'. The reason I think that he looks like Jasper is because this is who I picture him as. - Rachel • Obviously Jackson is perfect for the role of Jasper. In the books Jasper was my favorite character, hands down. When Jackson was announced as Jasper, I was already happy. I'd seen him in The OC, and I saw how much of an amazing actor he really is. Jackson seems like the type of guy who really gets into a role, and gives it his all. I already know Jackson's going to be an amazing Jasper. =] - John • I think Jackson is perfect for the role of Jasper because he is what I would have pictured him as in the book if I would have known what Jasper looked like.- Stephie • I'm a huge Jasper girl. I always loved him because he was intelligent, calm, sweet, wise, and he's been through so much. To me he the man of Twilight besides Carlisle. So being a huge Jackson fan I was stoked to find out he was going to play him. Because I always thought Jackson was an 'old soul' and he's intense, plus he really looks people in the eyes and can be intense. I just think he's perfect to portray the spirit of Jasper. Go Jackson and Jasper. - Megan A • Jackson has amazing chemistry with Ashley and it's made clear in the book that Jasper and Alice have mindblowing chemistry. He's physcially good for it and can CLEARLY act. Also Jackson's awesome. And Jasper has to be awesome. - Jo • He fits the part perfectly for a vampire who can calm the people around him. Jackson was the person I pictured as Jasper and can't wait to see the movie! - Meg • At first I was skeptic, with the many different ways they screwed his hair up. But then, later on, in the pics and interviews, I found that he really was perfect. That they finally got the hair right, that he looks like Jasper, and that he's able to have such a great chemistry with Ashley Greene. That's the one thing that he needed the most, that way he'd be able to pull off Jasper and Alice's romance perfectly. I think that he's the best choice for Jasper. Everyone keeps saying, oh yah, this person would be better, or, no, that person would. I think he's the best! - Christina • I think the blonde hair may have had people doubt.. but I MEAN EVERYONE WENT BLONDE.. Nikki, Jackson, Peter! So, after that is done, we all have to admit that we love Jackson as Jasper. Him and Ashley pull off Alice and Jasper like no other and I wouldn't have it any other way. - Katiedid • When I read the books, Jasper wasn't exactly in the foreground too much so I didn't worry too much about him. Then came the cast photos. So I reread the books, with the cast in mind, and thought to myself, "Well. I am overjoyed they got such a classy fellow to play Jasper!" Now I'm excited to see how he does. I'm sure he'll be real hip and capture the whole essence of Jasper quite well. I hope this site is on their feet; I sense a flood of fangirls a-comin'. Oh my. - Ads • Jackson has a somewhat mysterious, stoic and wise look that makes him perfect as Jasper. If i was to imagine what Jasper looks like, i'm sure i'd see Jackson. :) - Afiqag • He's SMEXXI enuf. - Marina • I never had a definite look for Jasper after reading the Twilight books. I mean, just like everyone else - we all had this certain idea as to what we thought they looked like. I never saw, nor heard of him before the Twilight film, and I personally think from what I've seen that he looks like a good Jasper. There isn't many scenes that they have showed with his acting ability as to this character, but I think he can do it. :) - Chelsea • Just looking at his face, you can see the charisma Jasper is famous for, as well as the hypnotic influence of his eyes *sigh* What I find interesting is that he was actually on Stephenie's website before they ever started casting as a fan-favorite for Edward! - Alaina • First I did'nt like him as Jasper but now I have changed.
