In a recent interview with US Weekly, Kellan Lutz mentioned Jackson and Peter Facinelli.
Us Weekly caught up with the Breaking Dawn star, 27, at Heineken’s US Open Player Party in NYC Friday night, where he admitted his favorite memories from his time as part of the Twilight phenomenon came before the films were a big deal.
“I gotta say my favorite moments were during . . . the first movie, before any of this craze happened. We were just ourselves, no one really knew who we were yet,” Lutz explained. “We haven’t changed per se, but we were able to get away with a lot more.”
“I remember Peter [Facinelli] and Jackson [Rathbone] and myself would go to different bars and different concerts,” the actor continued of their formerly low-key nights out together. “We’d go do karaoke all the time.”
People has released an interview and behind the scenes video of Jackson and his son’s photoshoot with the magazine. Check it out below!
Screencaptures from the interview/photoshoot have also been added to the gallery. Enjoy!

So not only did we get our first photos of Baby Roe, we also get this adorable tweet Nikki Reed posted as well. Gotta love Jackson and Nikki’s friendship!
We should all be so lucky to have “Twilight” star Nikki Reed as an auntie. The actress took to Twitter today, confessing her weakness for baby-clothes shopping for co-star Jackson Rathbone’s son Monroe. And just look at the adorable wears she purchased! John Deere stripped socks! A bulls-head romper! Onesies fit for a dude-ranch worker! This kid is going country…and fast!
Monroe Jackson Rathbone V joined the “Twilight” baby contingency in early July, welcomed by a tweet from none other than his vampire father. With extra free time now that he’s left the band 100 Monkeys, we have to imagine dad and lad are doing a lot of bonding before Jackson hits the road to promote “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.”
Thanks to epnebelle, Jackson and baby Monroe aka Roe are featured in the latest issue of People Magazine. Can I get a collective “awwwwwwwwww”? So cute! Two photos of the adorable duo can be found in the gallery. I will add proper scans from the issue as soon as I get my hands on a copy. In the meantime, enjoy! EDIT: One of the scans has been replaced by a digital version. Thanks to the lovely folks over at Rpattz_Daily!
Big screen vampire Jackson Rathbone has a wonderful reason to stay up all night.
In the Twilight Saga, he plays Jasper Hale, a vampire who can read others’ emotions. But nothing prepared Rathbone, 27, for the “deep and profound love” he would feel for baby Roe, born July 5 to girlfriend Sheila Hafsadi. The actor met the burlesque dancer, 24, at a Florida club, and within three months they were expecting. Still, they’ve slipped easily into their new roles. “I am captain of the poopy diapers.” He says. At least one vestige of vampire life remains; “I’m still up pretty late with this guy.”
As a result of tremendous public support, GIRLFRIEND has been picked up for distribution by Strand Releasing, and will be released on DVD, cable television video-on-demand (Time Warner Cable, Comcast, DISH Network & Direct TV), Amazon, iTunes, and Vudu on August 7th! It will also be available on Netflix and Hulu in September 2012.
We’re still months away from the final installment, “Breaking Dawn – Part 2,” but we already have a sense of where the actors stand and what their careers should look like when they move on from vampires.
Below I’ve ranked eight celebrities who owe their stardom to 2008′s “Twilight” by how powerful they currently sit in Hollywood. I omitted the older actors since we already have a good sense of what their legacy will be. I’ve also provided a “Floor” and “Ceiling” for each name as a comparison to the careers theirs may resemble if they miss their potential or reach it.
8) JACKSON RATHBONE
Floor: New Kids on the Block member you don’t remember
Ceiling: Brad Pitt
Rathbone is the biggest enigma of the cast. In person, he’s arguably the most charismatic of them all. You’d think that would translate into more screen time on more projects. Maybe he hasn’t been given any memorable roles outside of “Twilight” because he’s busy with his band, 100 Monkeys? If he dedicates himself to acting over anything else, I could see him eclipsing everyone else on this list.
