Jackson chats to Hypable about Breaking Dawn – Part 2 and his son.
Twilight’s Jackson Rathbone, who plays Jasper Cullen in The Twilight Saga films, attended last night’s Los Angeles premiere of The Perks of Being a Wallflower. We asked him about the newly-released Breaking Dawn trailer which implies a battle end scene.
“There are implications” of a battle he acknowledges cryptically to Hypable. We pressed further and suggested that the battle may actually be one of Alice’s visions, which has been a fan theory lately. “I want to know what all the fans think,” he told us, then came up with his own idea. “What I think happens, after you watch the movie and the credits roll, it’ll say ‘thank you for watching,’ then you’ll see Billy Burke’s character Charlie Swan waking up and being like ‘Oh thank God, it was all a dream!’”
Would Rathbone be satisfied with that type of ending? “‘All this was a dream?’ I don’t know, it’d be pretty funny. I’m going for that.”
Finally, we checked in on Rathbone’s newborn boy Monroe and confirmed whether or not he’s exhibiting any Renesmee-like qualities.
And here we have it. The final trailer for Breaking Dawn – Part 2.
For those who haven’t seen it, here’s the Breaking Dawn Part 2 trailer from VMA:
With the final film in the “Twilight Saga” franchise arriving this November, fans are no doubt ready to sink their fangs into the latest details on the Cullen coven and how the blockbuster series—based on the bestselling vampire novels by author Stephenie Meyer—will end.
It was recently revealed this week that there will be a new twist ending described as ‘fitting’ for the last “Breaking Dawn” movie adaptation. While little is known about the changes at this point, “Cinema Blend” reported this Friday morning that any changes to the new ending is reported by the studio to create a more satisfying conclusion for Twi-hards and moviegoers alike.
For those anxious to sink their teeth into some new footage of the final “Twilight” movie, there’s some very good news in store for “Twi-hard” fans this week.
In latest “Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2” updates, a new trailer has just been announced this Tuesday from Summit Entertainment. According to “Reel Empire” over the Labor Day weekend, the new trailer is expected to premiere this September 8 online. The release date was first set for some time in the middle of September, but the latest sources tentatively set it for this Saturday.
