With the final film in the “Twilight Saga” franchise arriving this November, fans are no doubt ready to sink their fangs into the latest details on the Cullen coven and how the blockbuster series—based on the bestselling vampire novels by author Stephenie Meyer—will end.
It was recently revealed this week that there will be a new twist ending described as ‘fitting’ for the last “Breaking Dawn” movie adaptation. While little is known about the changes at this point, “Cinema Blend” reported this Friday morning that any changes to the new ending is reported by the studio to create a more satisfying conclusion for Twi-hards and moviegoers alike.
For those anxious to sink their teeth into some new footage of the final “Twilight” movie, there’s some very good news in store for “Twi-hard” fans this week.
In latest “Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2” updates, a new trailer has just been announced this Tuesday from Summit Entertainment. According to “Reel Empire” over the Labor Day weekend, the new trailer is expected to premiere this September 8 online. The release date was first set for some time in the middle of September, but the latest sources tentatively set it for this Saturday.
In a recent interview with US Weekly, Kellan Lutz mentioned Jackson and Peter Facinelli.
Us Weekly caught up with the Breaking Dawn star, 27, at Heineken’s US Open Player Party in NYC Friday night, where he admitted his favorite memories from his time as part of the Twilight phenomenon came before the films were a big deal.
“I gotta say my favorite moments were during . . . the first movie, before any of this craze happened. We were just ourselves, no one really knew who we were yet,” Lutz explained. “We haven’t changed per se, but we were able to get away with a lot more.”
“I remember Peter [Facinelli] and Jackson [Rathbone] and myself would go to different bars and different concerts,” the actor continued of their formerly low-key nights out together. “We’d go do karaoke all the time.”
We’re still months away from the final installment, “Breaking Dawn – Part 2,” but we already have a sense of where the actors stand and what their careers should look like when they move on from vampires.
Below I’ve ranked eight celebrities who owe their stardom to 2008′s “Twilight” by how powerful they currently sit in Hollywood. I omitted the older actors since we already have a good sense of what their legacy will be. I’ve also provided a “Floor” and “Ceiling” for each name as a comparison to the careers theirs may resemble if they miss their potential or reach it.
8) JACKSON RATHBONE
Floor: New Kids on the Block member you don’t remember
Ceiling: Brad Pitt
Rathbone is the biggest enigma of the cast. In person, he’s arguably the most charismatic of them all. You’d think that would translate into more screen time on more projects. Maybe he hasn’t been given any memorable roles outside of “Twilight” because he’s busy with his band, 100 Monkeys? If he dedicates himself to acting over anything else, I could see him eclipsing everyone else on this list.

It’s Twilight’s last appearance at Comic-Con, at least as far as anyone knows, so we sat down with several of the franchise’s favorite actors – Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone, and Ashley Greene – to talk about the final film in the franchise, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.
Movies.com: We are currently at Comic Con, the home of western showdowns, superheroes, and action. The end of Breaking Dawn Part 2 is an epic superhero showdown. What superhero reminds you most of your character?
Jackson Rathbone: Captain American because of the way he fights, only change it to Captain Texas since that’s Jasper’s roots. In a lot of ways Jasper’s just very technically proficient because he’s done it so many times for just so long. He has a warrior’s mindset. He’s very strong and silent. He’s very quiet. There’s not a lot of superheroes that are very quiet. A lot superheroes are very (in a deep booming voice) “Take that bad guy!” Being clever plays here (points to head) Jasper is much more get it done without the talk. He is a man of few words. You mentioned Westerns. Jasper is the ultimate Clint Eastwood he never blinks.

Expectant father Jackson Rathbone is planning to give his son the jet-setter lifestyle from birth – the Twilight star wants to take the baby with him on his upcoming global press tour to promote the final film in the vampire franchise.
The actor and his girlfriend Sheila Hafsadi are due to become parents imminently and Rathbone is keen to stay close to his boy while he works to advertise the release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 later this year.
He tells Eonline.com, “When I was two weeks old, I went on my first plane trip. I really hope I get to go to places like Brazil, Colombia and Argentina.”
And Rathbone insists he will have no problems changing the baby’s diaper – because he’s already an expert at the dirty task.
He says, “I used to change my sister’s diaper when she was a baby. I’m a pro at it.”
