“Roe”…? Why in the world would you call your kid after fish eggs? What’s wrong with just calling it “Monroe”, which is actually a somewhat decent name by Hollywood standards.

And Linda, I see nothing wrong with the nickname Roe. There’s tons of different meanings for that name – http://www.surnamedb.com/Surname/Roe, http://www.thinkbabynames.com/meaning/1/Roe, http://www.sheknows.com/baby-names/name/roe

Why isn’t Shelia in the picture? Usually People magazine has both parents in the “introduction” baby photos. And, it can’t be to protect Shelia because we already know what she looks like because of the pictures that were released early on. It seems weird to me.

I was thinking the same thing Mary? Sheila needs to be in the picture too. I know she’s not ‘famous’ but still, what gives?

@ Mary/Rachel: It’s possible she didn’t want to? Lots of “regular” people involved with actors/actresses/musicians/etc. are rarely/never seen because they prefer to stay out of the “spotlight.”
