i’ve met them all and none of them have an ego about them. and they love the scum of the earth small bars that put their fans as close to them as possible. they feed off the energy of the crowd and its amazing.

that’s the life i want, i want to tour with bands and go to like scummy bars and like live in a van. i thought i was crazy and the only one who would want to live that way.

Nashville might have been top floor of the Ren – but these guys still break down their own gear, they still haul equipment, they load and unload – and they do it all on a very tiring schedule!
I have never met Jackson – but I’ve met all the rest of the band – and they aren’t spoiled rock stars, nor are are they going to let “J-Bone” become a pampered movie star when he’s with them.
To love the 100 Monkeys is to know how hard they work without a large entourage of people surrounding them.

Well he wasn’t sleeping in a Motel in Nashville! I believe he was on the top floor of the Renaissance Hotel! LOL
