Two Old School Jackson Commercials + More Sambuca Photos!

Here are two great old commercials Jackson did for an anti-smoking campaign! The videos have been uploaded to our youtube channel and will shortly be added in our Media Center as well. Captures are in the gallery although the first set isn’t that good of quality because of the video. Regardless, enjoy!

Also, huge thanks to Kim for graciously allowing us to post her photos from the Sambuca show! Don’t forget to read the review she wrote for the site here!

Which commercial did you enjoy more? The first one was just too hilarious not to like.

Omigod! Those were just too priceless. The first one was even funny enough to make me ignore the irony of how hypocritical it’d be if those were newer ads. lol
Mini-rant aside, I loved them. The first was better than the second, if only because I have a soft spot for Jackson’s humorous side. Though the second was pretty good too. It was a little more obviously a PSA than the first, but still cute and clever.
Thanks for sharing them, Gel. :)

Anyone else think it’s hilariously ironic that Jackson was reported to be smoking like a chimney on the twilight set? Oh how things change haha

Hmm. Too bad he doesn’t seem to feel the same way in RL..
Btw: is anyone else having issues logging in to the forum? I have been unable to do so for days now.

LOL Those commercials were funny. Jackson is absolutely adorable. I’ve seen more recent pics of him smoking and I think it’s very sad. But nevertheless, I LOVE him!

Which photos of him smoking? I haven’t seen them. The only pics of actors I have seen smoking on the Twilight/New Moon set were Rob, Kristen, Kellan and Nikki. None of Jackson, Ashley or Peter. Though, I did remember him smoking in the episode of Criminal Minds. But even if he is smoking, I still love him as a person and actor/musician.

It doesn’t really make him a bad person. Some people smoke to relieve tension or stress. I bet working long hours and the pressure to perform well on set, must be really stressful- especially when expections are really high.

LOL.
I thought he smoked?! In the Kings of Leon concert pics, it looks like he’s got a cigarette in his hand.

I don’t remember where I saw the pictures. They weren’t of him on set of Twilight; they were somewhere else. Smoking doesn’t make him a bad person at all. I still love him so much! I feel kind of sorry for his health though. But it’s his choice.
Stress is probably a major factor of it, as well as other things.
He’s still an awesome actor and a kick ass musician! Love him!!!!!!!
