Top TEN Sexy Smiles!

Good to see Jackson get recoginized for something, even if it’s for his smile!

SmileMy number one spot goes to the guy I consider to be the epitome of beautiful, and soulful.

1.) Jackson Rathbone: For me, there is no sexier mouth on the planet. His smile reaches his eyes, and it’s contagious.

You can’t look at him grinning, and not do the same in return.

Every time I see his mouth turn up at the corners, I can’t help but smile extremely wide, and say “Awwwww” (Yes aloud, don’t judge me.) *laugh*

Monkeying Around With A Vampire

Thanks to Clover for the tip on this!

100 MonkeysWith every movie, there is always an underground movement to love on the underdog. It’s that peripheral character who is attractive in his own unique way, who doesn’t take over screen time but has an offbeat appeal that often supplements the front and center personality of the main character. Example–the Ron to Harry Potter, McLovin to Seth and Evan, Miranda to Carrie. Perhaps a darker example is that of Jackson Rathbone, who plays a pale-faced Jasper Hale, the adopted Cullen family member with a gift for sensing and manipulating others’ emotions, in the cult-adored movie Twilight. Rathbone, who had a small stint in Midland when he attended their youth actor’s program, is a vocalist and guitarist in the band 100 Monkeys, which he founded with two high school friends. Their music has a rackety, rhythmic and slightly demonic feel, characterized as a combo of “Japanese classic music, 2-step and psychobilly.” The now four-man band will be sweeping (vampire-style, we hope) through Dallas from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Barnes & Noble on Northwest Highway to sign their latest album. Side note for serious 100 Monkeys fans: They’ll also be playing at The Palladium Saturday night, so check them out there before telling them in person Sunday how much you dug the show.

RATHBONE GRANTS DYING FAN’S LAST WISH

How can you not be a fan after reading this amazing article about Jackson?

ContactTWILIGHT star JACKSON RATHBONE is making a dying fan’s dream come true – by treating her to a behind-the-scenes tour of his band’s upcoming concert.

The actor, who played Jasper Hale in the vampire love story, spends his spare time performing with two friends in the rock group 100 Monkeys.

And when Rathbone heard that a Twilight fan is suffering from terminal cancer, he vowed to make her dreams come true.
He’s offered to let 14-year-old Dorothy hang out backstage with the band at Saturday’s (01Aug09) show in Dallas, Texas – and the star is convinced the selfless act is the least he could do.

The 24 year old says, “We’re all very lucky people and helping others makes us who we are.”

Dread Release Date & Update on Arizona Con

Dread finally got a release date and will be one of the eight films featured in next year’s Horrorfest. Here is part of the article. You can read the rest of it at the source.

“After Dark Films CEO Courtney Solomon announces the latest addition to After Dark Films’ Horrorfest 4 lineup today in Hollywood . Anthony DiBlasi directs his own script of the eagerly anticipated Clive Barker tale, “DREAD,” which goes out to theaters January 29, 2010 as part of After Dark Films Horrorfest “8 Films To Die For”.

DREAD is the second film in the Book of Blood franchise. The action follows three college students who set out to produce a documentary about fear, only to find themselves the subjects of an experiment in terror. DiBlasi, a producing partner of Barker’s on such films as Book of Blood and Midnight Meat Train, makes his directorial debut with DREAD, working from his own screenplay. Jackson Rathbone (Twilight Saga and The Last Airbender) stars alongside Shaun Evans (Boy A), Hanne Steen and Laura Donnelly.

Edited to add: A production still from the film has also been added to the gallery. It is the complete one featuring Jackson, Peter and Kellan!

What do you think of the new site? Love it or hate it? I personally think all the new stuff is definitely an upgrade from the first film.
