100 Monkeys out in NY!

First off, this post wouldn’t have happened without the lovely contributions by Theresa, Octavia and Lesley! Thanks so much to the three of them for their photos (and videos)! No review this time, however, Examiner.Com has posted a lengthy review/interview with the guys which is definitely worth checking out especially when you take a look at the lovely photos they have posted up.

100 Monkeys rock out in NYC

Ben Johnson,Jackson Rathbone (Twilight), Jared Anderson and Ben Graupner with occasional appearances by Laurence Abrams complete the band called, 100 Monkeys. If you are looking to be entertained, surprised, and maybe a little shocked then you have to see 100 Monkeys’ perform.I recently went to both of their shows in New York City. I was lucky enough to have some face time with the band to discuss their wild and crazy performances. “We take instruments and make noise out of them,” said Jackson Rathbone. Clearly, that “noise” seems to be attracting numerous fans.

    I adored the youtube videos of the 100 Monkeys show(s) in New York. And as suggested, I istened to Ben J’s belting out Spencer Bell’s “Beautiful, More So!”, it was absolutely lovely! :) The photos were just as wonderful as the video’s themselves. Umm, Theresa, Octavia, and Lesley can I ask you something? If you do read the comments here- can I have your permission to make drawings from some of the photos you took. I’ll give you guys credit of course, but I won’t post them on the internet if I don’t have your permission.

    Does the 100 monkeys have a cd out? If so where can I find it? I think they are awesome. Thanks for posting the pictures and videos, they are great!

    Melissia, they have their all improv CD Monster De Lux out on Itunes and Amazon. :)
