The official S. Darko website has finally gotten a full upgrade, the site now includes some aim & wallpaper downloads, images from the movie and a neat little guestbook that you can sign. I added the little promo shot of Jackson and the one lone still of him to the gallery.

Finally, the filmmakes of Jackson’s short film, Young Again, have posted a recent update about the status of the film which you can read below.

In response to inquiries regarding Young Again

Young Again is a short film about Ethan, who on an unexpected journey back to his youth, discovers that childhood only comes once in a lifetime.

A completion date has not been set due to scheduling conflicts with our various artists participating in the project.  Once a date has been set, we will announce it on our blog here.

At that point, if you are interested in seeing the film, please write us then and we will let you know about any festival screenings or other venues to see the film.  I understand that some of you are out of the U.S. and would like to see the film.  We will do our best to make the film available to all who would like to see it.

The drive up to San Ramon is beautiful.  The Northern California hills are verdant green, and inviting, even when clouds clutter the sky.  Friday was clear and beautiful.  Blue skies, green hills and a fully stocked rocking fest waiting ahead.

If you haven’t already, make sure to pick up your copy of Big Stan on DVD today! I capped all of Jackson’s scenes in DVD quality caps along with the extras he was featured in. I have also added a few 100 Monkeys related images to the gallery and add ons to the steakhouse appearance.

In Vancouver to prepare for the filming of New Moon, Twilight stars Jackson Rathbone, Kristen Stewart, Rachelle Lefevre and Nikki Reed were spotted bonding over dinner at Gotham Steak house.

And if you haven’t checked the 100 Monkeys myspace lately, the guys have put up two new live tracks, one entitled “Jello”, the other “Sweet Face”. Make sure you stop by their page to listen to both, especially Sweet Face. Ben G has got some amazing vocals.

Leave it to 24K to make my description of the opening band in last Tuesday’s review null and void. There was no sign of the staple openers, Mike D and Josh L. Instead, the crowd was exposed to a new band called “Chief Nowhere”, whose sound was pretty refined for a rock band. When I say refined, please don’t assume I’m referring to something soft. They rocked, hard.  They played several songs, I’m chagrined to report that I can’t tell you exactly how many, because your faithful reviewer was fulfilling other duties at that time. I do however know that every song was received with loud enthusiasm.  Additionally, all of the bands were heard mentioning how great they sounded. High praise considering the line-up, Tuesday.

Lainey Gossip has once again provided us with images of Jackson leaving Vancouver earlier today. Notice those curls under that hat. Hmm… Here’s what she had to say:

Last night several cast members went out for dinner including Kristen Stewart and of course Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone, and Rachelle Lefevre and Edi Gathegi.

….

Here he is Jackson Rathbone at Vancouver airport taking off today with his new Jasper hair. Very well worn pair of pants, non? Seems like a confident, easy going, not awkward all the time dude. Good.

Also Jackson’s castmates – Ashley Green with whom he arrived at the airport (there’s a teddy bear in her bag) and was seen on a coffee run the other day… is there something going on?

Jackson was also spoken to the night of the cast dinner and had this to say thanks to Just Jared Jr.

As as the cast was leaving, Jackson, 24, revealed to paparazzi that filming for New Moon will be starting earlier than anticipated. He shared, “[Rehearsals] They’re going great, they’re going great. We’re actually going to start filming on Monday, so be sure to check it out.”
