Also added some great icons made by Dazzledbyjem and Kinga-86. Make sure you check them out, they’re great icon makers! Here’s an article dealing with Jackson in Dread. Nothing new really, just his announcement of being part of the cast.

We learned this afternoon that Jackson Rathbone (S. Darko, Twilight) is toplining Anthony DiBlasi’s Dread, which begins filming this October in London from Matador Pictures and Midnight Picture Show. The film, written and to be directed by Anthony DiBlasi, is based on a short story from the famous collection, “Books of Blood” by Clive Barker about people’s worst fears or ‘Dreads’. In the short, film student Stephen Grace is befriended by a disturbed, unsettling young man, Quaid, whose life has been distorted by a nightmare tragedy in his youth. Quaid convinces Stephen to make a documentary about people’s worst fears, but Quaid soon goes over the edge in his quest to completely understand and experience the full measure of dread…

Jackson has been very busy lately, and he’s about to become even more busy with possibly landing another role in the movie ‘Intent’.

Producers of the suspense thriller ‘Intent’ have gotten one step closer to immortality. New Castle Entertainment has been in talks with ‘Twilight’ star, Jackson Rathbone for several months. Rathbone plays Jasper Hale in the much anticipated vampire series due in theatres November 21st.

After becoming a New York Times best-seller with Twilight, first-time writer, Stephanie Meyer, has now written three more installments in the series. Her books have sold over 50 million copies worldwide.

‘Intent’ is scheduled to start production October 27th in Livonia, Michigan. Rathbone, who is 23, attended high school at Interlochen Academy in northern Michigan. For more information, visit www.IntentMovie.com

ETA: Jackson has not signed on to this movie, so it’s basically all just “rumor” at this point.

Jackson attended the Declare Yourself’s “Last Call To Action” last night, so far there are only 8 images from this event. If I find any more, I will add them to the gallery. If anyone comes cross any pictures of Jackson from this event, please let us know! Anyway, enjoy the pictures!

The Following pages have been updated: AdjectiveFavorite Jackson Co-Star, Favorite Jackson Movie, Jackson As Jasper and Which Hairstyle.

ETA: Added 1 HQ picture (huge thanks to Seana for it!) plus 4 other images as well. Also found some more character information on Jackson’s role for Dread.

[STEPHEN GRACE] 22, a fairly normal young man, intelligent, sensitive, down-to-earth, a bit shy (he thinks he has the social skills of a 15 year old) but appealing, Stephen is a film student who’s had a fairly average life, with the exception of the tragedy of his older brother’s death in a car accident seven years ago. Befriended by the intense but oddly compelling Quaid, who helps Stephen loosen up and experience the thrill of an adrenaline rush now and then, Stephen agrees with Quaid’s suggestion that he make his thesis film a documentary on the nature of fear. Stephen becomes accustomed to Quaid’s habit of pushing the envelope, and genuinely feels a bond between them when Quaid opens up about his parents’ murders and Stephen honestly discusses his feelings about his brother’s death. As the documentary continues, Stephen begins to realize that Quaid has stepped over the edge, but he has no idea how far into the heart of darkness Quaid has gone–or the price he himself will pay to follow..

TAKE ME TO THE INTERVIEW!!

Well, here we have it! Jackson has graciously answered our questions, and those who were lucky enough to be chosen, and we’re now finally posting it on the site! Feel free to link to this post and to the interview itself, but please don’t post the entire interview on your site. Snippets are fine with us as long as you provide a link back! We thank everyone who participated in this along with Jackson and his management for giving us this great opportunity!

Here are a few snippets from the interview!

Since you lived in many different countries when you were younger, do you speak any foreign languages?
Sadly, no. I can only count to ten in Norwegian, and a fairly good hold of the Spanish language. If you speak slow and forgive my pronunciation.

What role have you found the most difficult to fit into?
Nicolas Fiske of the Beautiful People series. It was my very first leading man role. I’d only ever been a character actor in theatre, and I had never played the romantic leading man. I never really wanted to. I have a lot more fun playing characters.

Clive’s Barker’s company, Midnight Picture Show is also producing the film with Matador Pictures. The Director of Photography was the cinematographer on The Descent.

Jackson got mentioned in this week’s Twilight Tuesday interview with Peter Facinelli. It’s about the prank Edi pulled on Jackson during filming of the movie! Pretty hilarious if you ask me.

MTV: Who is the biggest prankster among the “Twilight” stars?

Facinelli: Edi Gathegi [who plays Laurent] was the big jokester. … He does all these voices, so he would call me [on the phone] and pretend like he was different people. Like, he called my room and said he was some girl named Suzie, and I was like, “Who is this?” This is a funny story: One day I told him to call Jackson Rathbone and do Suzie for him and say he was Suzie from the production office. So he called and said, “Hey, this is Suzie from the production office. We just want to tell you that we’re dying your hair back to brown, because we don’t like the blond hair.”

MTV: That’s hilarious, because Jackson was already going through hell trying to find the right hairdo.

Facinelli: Yeah, and this was early in the production. [Jackson] was like, “Oh, OK.” And he was actually on the phone with his manager, so he clicked over and was like, “Oh, yeah, they just called me. They’re dying my hair back.” And his manager goes, “Oh, thank God. I hated you with blond hair!” And then [Edi] called them back and was like, “It’s just me.” And [Jackson] had to call his manager back to say it’s not real. And the manager was totally backpedaling! Jackson said it was funny.
