- Jackson Rathbone reminds me of Jack Nicholson. He is very loud and stares really intently. He came into the gym to watch the volleyball players even though he wasn’t in that scene. He really looks like a vampire when he’s inside.

MTV have posted their Twilight Tuesday treat early! The cast answered a number of questions from the fans, and Jackson was included.

Q: “What’s the coolest thing about being a vampire?” – Nazrine

Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Hale): I’d have to say the coolest thing, the singular coolest thing, to me would have to be the ability to just stay out of the sun. You know, I’m not really a sun person. I’m not a beach bunny. I’m more of an indoor-sports kind of guy. You know, sitting at home with a guitar, just very simple. I’m all about nightlife. I live during the night, so that would have to be the coolest aspect for me.

Louise (lh2005 on livejournal) has recently given me permission to post more clips of Jackson’s appearances on various Television shows to the site! So here’s something we don’t have in the media center, Jackson’s role on The War at Home which he appeared in the second season, playing Dylan. You can find out more about the episodes at the The War At Home page located in the career section.

Now for some awesome Twilight news! TwilightMoms is reporting the Twilight Trailer or rather the teaser trailer will be attached as one of the previews before Speed Racer. More importantly, it’s rumoured the trailer will be officially launched on the official Twilight site. It’s not certain when, but apparently it will be this week. Let’s cross our fingers and hope this is true!

Secondly, a Twilight preview will be featured on the DVD release of one of Summit’s latest movies, Penelope. Hopefully it will be something worthwhile! Then again, Penelope is a great movie… You can read more about it here.

Phases: A Twilight Podcast, was given a great oportunity to interview Jackson! It’s a great read and you can really see how Jackson geared himself up for the role of Jasper along with his nice humour. Here’s just a small taste of what was said:

Phases: Can you tell us anything about the audition process for the role of Jasper (multiple interviews, what did they have you read, etc)?

Jackson Rathbone: I actually walked to the audition with my guitar, playing as I walked. I also wore my lucky cowboy boots.

Also, MSN has published three new articles about the movie and even included a new shot of the Cullen family — this time with Bella in it!
